What's a mini session?

A mini photography session is a shorter, more affordable version of a full photoshoot, typically lasting between 10 to 20 minutes. I, the photographer will pre-plan a specific date, time, and location, usually with a seasonal theme like fall foliage or holiday decor. These mini sessions are scheduled back-to-back throughout a specific timeframe, which means the pace is fast, and the time slot is firm.

• Holiday cards and gifts: Getting a few polished, festive photos for seasonal mailings.
• Busy families: Capturing updated family portraits in a quick, low-stress manner.
• Milestone moments: Documenting a child's milestone, such as a first birthday, or a couples' portrait.
• Trying a new photographer: Experiencing a photographer's style at a lower price before committing to a full session.
• Professional headshots: Getting a quick, refreshed professional headshot.

What to expect

• Arrive early: Because sessions are back-to-back, it's crucial to arrive a little early to ensure you don't lose any of your limited time.
• Come ready: Outfit changes are typically not possible, and there's no warm-up time. Arrive dressed and with props ready to go.
• A fast-paced plan: The photographer will likely have a few specific poses and groupings planned to maximize the short time. They will still aim to capture candid moments, but the flow is more structured than a full session.
• A limited-scope gallery: A few weeks after the session, you will receive access to an online gallery of a set number of edited, high-resolution images. You may be able to purchase additional prints or digital downloads.
